This Privacy Policy describes how Music-Performance Sports League, LLC ("MPSL," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Music-Performance Sports ("MPS") platform and the Song vs Song Sports League ("SvS") application.

1. Account Information

We collect and process the following account information: your name, username, email, authentication information, profile information, profile image, and user role. Where you choose to provide age or location information, we process that as well.

2. Competition Information

We process competition-related information, including player profile, team, franchise/division, competition eligibility, match participation, scores, ratings, judge scores, results, rankings, standings, awards, and competition history.

3. Music Information

We process music information you submit, including MP3 uploads, song titles, artist names, artwork, Spotify identifiers/links, Apple Music identifiers/links, and music metadata.

4. Scrimmage Information

We process Scrimmage participation information, including Scrimmage role, Scrimmage Season, Scrimmage Game, Scrimmage Match, and Scrimmage results. Scrimmage data does not affect official competition records.

5. Fan Activity

Where you participate as a fan, we process public scores, ratings, voting activity, competition interactions, and anti-fraud information used to protect competition integrity.

6. Payment Information

Where you make a payment, we process transaction amount, payment status, transaction identifier, the product or competition purchased, and refund status. Payment-card processing is handled by our payment processor; MPSL does not store complete payment-card information.

7. Technical Information

We process technical information necessary to operate the platform, including device information, operating system, app version, IP address, session information, security logs, crash information, and analytics information.

8. Communications

We process communications you send us, including support requests, reports, appeals, complaints, and administrative communications.

9. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: create accounts; authenticate users; operate MPS and SvS; operate official competition and Scrimmages; process music submissions; display player profiles; generate matchups; conduct scoring; generate standings and rankings; display results; process payments; send notifications; provide customer support; detect fraud; protect competition integrity; maintain security; resolve disputes; enforce league rules; maintain historical competition records; and comply with legal requirements.

10. Public Competition Data

Certain competition information may be publicly visible as part of the SvS sports-league experience, including artist/player name, profile image, team, franchise/division, song, matchup, scores, rankings, standings, wins/losses, awards, championship results, and competition history. We do not expose private account information through public competition profiles.

11. Third-Party Services

The platform integrates third-party services, including Spotify, Apple Music, authentication providers, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, and email/notification providers. These services operate under their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services.

12. Data Retention

We retain information as long as your account is active and as needed to provide services. Certain information may be retained after account deletion where legally appropriate, including transaction records, fraud/security records, dispute records, official historical competition records, and legally required records. Where appropriate, we de-identify rather than delete such records.

13. Your Privacy Rights

You may access your account information, request corrections, and request account deletion through the Privacy Controls in the Legal & Privacy section. You may also contact MPSL regarding privacy concerns.

14. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion from the Legal & Privacy section. After a valid request, we delete or de-identify applicable personal information. Certain information may be retained as described above. We do not silently delete official competition history where doing so would corrupt historical standings, game results, or league records.

15. Children's Privacy

The platform is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create standard accounts through the normal registration flow. Any approved youth program would be implemented as a separate compliant workflow with parental consent.

16. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including access controls, role-based permissions, and audit logging.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material updates will be reflected in the Last Updated date and, where required, prompt renewed acknowledgement.
