What is Music-Performance Sports (MPS)?
Music-Performance Sports (MPS) is the world's first and official governing body for the sport of music performance. MPS establishes, administers, and enforces the official rules, regulations, competition standards, and league structure that govern the sport.
MPS's flagship league is the Song vs Song Sports League (SvS), where independent artists compete head-to-head with their songs under the governance of a pro sports league. Throughout the season, artists compete for rankings, team and individual success, and advancement to their respective Divisional Championships, with Division Champions advancing to compete on the sport's biggest stage, the SvS SUPER MIC Championship.
MPS is building music performance into a structured competitive sport with defined rules, standardized scoring, organized leagues, sanctioned championships, and a pathway for its athletes to advance through competition.
The long-term vision is to establish Music-Performance Sports as a globally recognized sport, with leagues, athletes, franchises, and championships worldwide, and ultimately pursue recognition and inclusion in the Olympic Games.
