Program operator
The SvS League Scout Program is operated by Music-Performance Sports League, LLC (“MPSL”), operator of Song vs Song Sports League (“SvS”).
Eligibility and enrollment
You must be at least 18 years old, maintain accurate account information, and accept these terms. Your Scout role activates when enrollment requirements are completed. Scout status may be added to your existing account roles.
National and Regional Scouts
Scouts may enroll as National Scouts or Regional Scouts. National Scouts recruit across the United States. Regional Scouts focus their recruiting efforts on a selected region or franchise territory. Regional assignments are nonexclusive and do not grant ownership of a territory or its artists. All referrals remain subject to the applicable registration eligibility requirements and referral attribution rules. Both Scout types earn $15 per qualifying paid registration under the current program terms. Future changes will be communicated before taking effect and will not reduce commissions already earned.
Scout tiers, recognition, and leadership
Scout tiers are based on verified qualifying recruits under the program’s referral rules. Each artist counts once toward lifetime tier advancement. Invalidated registrations may result in count and tier adjustments. All Scout tiers currently receive the same $15 commission per qualifying registration under the existing commission rules. Public directory participation and promotional features require consent. Tier advancement may establish eligibility for recognition or leadership consideration but does not guarantee an award, promotional placement, appointment, additional compensation, or competition authority. Leadership positions require a separate MPSL appointment.
Scout responsibilities
Scouts introduce artists to eligible games and draft opportunities. You may share your referral link or code, track prospects, and conduct permitted follow-up outreach. You may not sign agreements for MPSL, collect registration payments, act as an artist’s agent under this program, or make commitments on behalf of the league.
Commission eligibility
Scouts earn $15 when a referred artist completes an eligible paid game or draft registration using their assigned referral link or code. Payment must clear and remain valid after the applicable refund period. Account creation, interest, prospect entry, and incomplete registrations do not qualify. Draft selection is not required. Unless an opportunity expressly states otherwise, only the artist’s first eligible paid registration qualifies.
Referral attribution
One Scout may receive credit per registration. The valid code recorded with the completed registration determines attribution, subject to review for errors or misuse. Prospect entry does not reserve an artist. Self-referrals, fabricated registrations, duplicate accounts, and unauthorized attribution changes are prohibited. Attribution concerns may be submitted through app support.
Payment and adjustments
Commissions remain pending until verification is complete. Payout schedules and any minimum thresholds are displayed in the dashboard. Refunded, reversed, fraudulent, duplicate, or otherwise ineligible registrations do not qualify. Partial refunds may result in adjustments under the opportunity’s published rules. If an ineligible commission was already paid, MPSL will explain the adjustment and may offset it against future commissions, subject to applicable law. Scouts must provide required payout and tax information and are responsible for applicable taxes. Earnings are not guaranteed.
Prospect information and outreach
Only add contact information you are authorized to use. Keep notes accurate, relevant, and respectful. Do not store payment credentials, identification documents, medical information, or passwords. Use prospect information only for authorized recruiting. Do not sell it or disclose it to other Scouts. Follow applicable communication and privacy requirements, honor opt-outs, and avoid repeated unwanted messages or bulk unsolicited outreach. Review reminders before sending them.
Honest promotion and disclosure
Use accurate league information and approved materials. Clearly disclose the commission relationship with your invitation or promotion. Suggested wording: “I’m an SvS League Scout and may earn a commission if you complete an eligible paid registration through my referral link.”
Competition integrity
Referrals do not guarantee selection, placement, scores, earnings, or results. Scouts must not manipulate scoring or claim special influence over selection decisions. Scouts holding separate evaluation or administrative roles must disclose referral-related conflicts and follow league conflict-management instructions.
Account security and access
Protect your credentials and report suspected unauthorized access. Scouts may access only their own records. Authorized league personnel may review records for program administration, support, and dispute resolution.
League branding
Approved league materials may be used to promote authorized opportunities while Scout status is active. Scout status does not make you a league employee, executive, franchise owner, or spokesperson. Stop using Scout credentials and promotional materials when authorization ends.
Program changes
MPSL may change future commission amounts, recruiting opportunities, or program terms. Changes will be communicated before taking effect. Changes will not reduce commissions already earned under the applicable registration terms. Material updates may require renewed acceptance.
Withdrawal and suspension
Scouts may leave through app support. MPSL may suspend or terminate access for fraud, harassment, misleading promotion, misuse of information, security concerns, or other violations. Where appropriate, notice and a review opportunity will be provided. Valid earned commissions remain subject to verification and documented adjustments; losing access does not automatically cancel them.
Acknowledgment and support
Contact app support with questions about referrals, commissions, prospect records, or these terms. By accepting, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms and will recruit honestly and protect prospect information.
