SvS Code of Conduct Policy

Music-Performance Sports League, LLC

Song vs Song Sports League and SvS Sports App

Version 1.0 • Prepared October 14, 2026

Status: Draft for adoption • Effective date: Upon approval by MPSL

SvS requires respectful conduct, honest competition, and safe participation. This policy sets expectations for everyone participating in league activities and explains how concerns are reported, reviewed, and resolved.

1 Purpose and scope

This policy applies to Players and Music-Sports Athletes, draft prospects, fans, AI Artist creators and account operators, franchise owners, General Managers, Game Administrators, Draft Committee Members, judges, Officials, Junior Division personnel, staff, contractors, and authorized representatives.

It covers the SvS Sports App, official games, draft evaluations, practices, scrimmages, live events, league communications, and related online activity. Conduct outside these settings may be reviewed when it directly threatens participant safety, competition integrity, or league operations. Each franchise operates as a division and must apply league standards.

This policy supplements competition rules, participation agreements, and event requirements. It does not create new payment obligations or override signed agreements or applicable law. MPSL will document how any conflicting league provisions are resolved before imposing discipline.

2 Respect and professional behavior

Treat others with dignity regardless of race, color, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other personal characteristics. Harassment, discriminatory abuse, sexual harassment, threats, stalking, bullying, doxxing, and intimidation are prohibited.

Competitive promotion, disagreement, and constructive criticism are permitted. Do not target people with abusive messages, encourage harassment, or use league channels to spread knowingly false accusations. Participants may question decisions and report concerns in good faith without retaliation.

3 Fair competition and public participation

Rate and select songs honestly under the rules of the applicable game. Respect listening requirements, verification, participation limits, and scoring deadlines. Do not use bots, duplicate accounts, impersonation, unauthorized automation, or another person's credentials to affect results.

Scoring manipulation includes coordinating dishonest low ratings against rivals, exchanging ratings as part of a manipulation scheme, offering rewards conditional on favorable scores, bribing judges or Officials, fabricating participation, or evading verified fan limits. Asking real supporters to listen and participate honestly is permitted. A low rating, popularity difference, or unusual score alone is not proof of misconduct.

Paid fan selections are allowed only through league-approved features and within published participation limits. Payment does not authorize extra selections or ratings. Voluntary tips, donations, sponsorships, and advertising must not affect scores or secure favorable treatment.

Do not share confidential scoring information, tamper with score records, interfere with another participant's submission, or exploit app defects. Report suspected errors privately through available support channels. Do not publicly share exploit instructions or sensitive account information.

4 Player and draft prospect responsibilities

Provide truthful identity, age, eligibility, residency or approved waiver information, and song credits. Use music and promotional materials you own or have permission to submit. Follow deadlines, approved song requirements, radio-edit standards, and restrictions on featured artists and repeated songs where applicable.

For the human independent artist draft, submit one song with the required audio file and a Spotify or Apple Music link. The song must be radio-edited and may not include a featured artist. AI Artists must use the separate AI Division selection process and may not enter the human draft.

When a submission issue triggers an official correction notice, the prospect has 24 hours from the recorded delivery time to correct the issue under the draft rules. Rodney may identify concerns and assist with corrections; a Draft Committee Member must be able to review suspected AI errors. Automated flags alone do not establish misconduct or authorize a final disciplinary sanction.

Attend required evaluations and games, communicate unavoidable absences promptly, and follow authorized event instructions. Do not falsify an absence, agreement, medical explanation, or qualification record.

5 Officials and franchise personnel

Perform duties impartially and within assigned permissions. Disclose conflicts of interest, close personal relationships, financial interests, and attempted influence before accepting an assignment. Do not use administrative access for personal advantage or unauthorized changes to eligibility, songs, schedules, or scores.

MPSL assigns three judges and one human Official per game. Each judge covers an assigned scoring category. Human judges and Officials may not reside within the division they are assigned to judge. AI assistance must follow league procedures, and the human Official must approve final scores. Judges and Officials must not accept gifts or payments intended to influence decisions.

6 Safety and Junior Division protections

Violence, credible threats, weapons used to threaten others, sexual exploitation, and conduct that endangers participants are prohibited. Follow venue safety instructions. Do not perform an assigned duty while impaired or supply prohibited substances to minors.

Junior Division participation requires the applicable parent or guardian approvals. Adults must use approved communication channels for league interactions with minors and include a parent, guardian, or authorized league supervisor in individual communications. Grooming, sexualized contact, requests for secrecy, and unauthorized private meetings with minors are prohibited.

Junior games are administered by neutral Game Administrators under the JR Division Director. Team personnel and a participating Junior Player's parent or guardian may not serve as that game's neutral administrator. Disciplinary notices involving a minor must also be provided to the parent or guardian, unless a safeguarding concern requires another appropriate approach.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services or venue security first. League review does not replace emergency assistance or legally required reporting.

7 Privacy and responsible use of league resources

Protect private contact details, identification documents, payment information, unreleased music, draft evaluations, and restricted league records. Share them only for an authorized purpose with people who need access. Do not record or distribute private communications without authorization.

Use league branding and titles only within granted permissions. Do not impersonate MPSL, falsely claim approval or affiliation, or make unauthorized commitments for the league. Advertising, sponsorships, and business outreach must follow approval procedures and must not include scams or misleading claims.

8 Reporting concerns

Report concerns through an available in-app reporting or support feature, the assigned Game Administrator, the General Manager, the JR Division Director, or the Commissioner. If the concern involves the normal recipient, escalate to an uninvolved league representative. MPSL will publish its official reporting contact before this policy takes effect.

Include the incident date, game or division, people involved, a factual description, and available screenshots, messages, or other evidence. Preserve original records. Do not obtain evidence through unauthorized account access or confront someone when doing so could create danger.

MPSL will limit disclosure to people needed for review and response, while recognizing that complete confidentiality cannot always be guaranteed. Anonymous reports may be reviewed when sufficient information is available. Good-faith reports remain protected even if unsubstantiated; knowingly fabricated reports and retaliation are violations.

9 Review and decision process

An authorized human reviewer will assess jurisdiction, preserve relevant records, check conflicts, and determine whether temporary protective measures are needed. The affected participant ordinarily receives written notice of the allegation, the applicable rule, and a meaningful opportunity to respond before final discipline.

Decisions must be based on reliable evidence showing the violation more likely than not occurred. Reviewers must consider context, intent, impact, prior substantiated violations, and mitigating circumstances. AI flags and statistical anomalies require human assessment and corroborating evidence.

The written decision must state the finding, supporting reasons, sanction and duration, any effect on eligibility or results, reinstatement conditions, and appeal instructions. Temporary access restrictions or removal from an event may be used immediately for safety or integrity concerns; they are not a final finding and must be reviewed promptly.

10 Authority and disciplinary measures

The Commissioner or authorized MPSL designee handles league discipline, cross-division cases, sanctions against franchise leadership, and competition-wide eligibility. General Managers handle franchise matters within delegated authority and escalate serious cases. Game Administrators and Officials may preserve evidence, moderate assigned games, and take authorized immediate protective action; they may not independently impose league-wide bans.

Possible measures include education, a written warning, removal of prohibited content, restricted app features, event removal, probation, suspension, disqualification, withdrawal of an appointment, or permanent exclusion for severe or repeated misconduct. Serious conduct may warrant immediate suspension without prior warnings.

Point deductions, forfeits, or result adjustments require documented competition-related misconduct, an identified affected game or result, and approval by authorized league personnel. Do not deduct a Player's points solely because a fan acted independently; establish the Player's involvement or apply a neutral correction to invalid participation under published scoring rules.

Financial fines may be imposed only where a previously communicated agreement or disciplinary schedule authorizes them. This policy creates no automatic fine amount. Withholding earned compensation, confiscating funds, or cancelling contractual rights requires a separate applicable basis and must not be presumed from a conduct violation.

11 Appeals and reinstatement

A participant may submit a written appeal within seven calendar days of receiving the decision, unless a longer period is stated. Appeals may identify a material factual error, new evidence, a conflict of interest, a procedural failure, or a disproportionate sanction.

An uninvolved authorized reviewer must decide the appeal. If the Commissioner made the original decision, MPSL must designate an independent reviewer or panel. The sanction generally remains in effect during appeal unless stayed. MPSL should issue an appeal decision within 14 calendar days or provide an explanation and revised timeline.

Reinstatement requires completion of stated conditions and written approval. Do not evade a suspension by creating a new account, using another person's account, or participating through an alternate artist identity. MPSL will retain a record of the decision and any appeal outcome.

12 Administration and acknowledgment

MPSL will publish this policy and material revisions with version and effective dates. New or increased sanctions apply prospectively. Participants must acknowledge the current policy when joining, accepting an official role, or completing applicable season or draft registration. Parents or guardians acknowledge for Junior Players.

Rodney, the Referee, may explain policy, guide reports, and flag potential issues. Rodney cannot issue final discipline, decide appeals, or replace human safeguarding review. Acceptance records should preserve the policy version, participant identity, and acknowledgment date.
